What is in a GCC Slip?
Your GAMCA medical appointment slip, or GCC slip, verifies that you have successfully booked an appointment at a GAMCA-approved medical center.
The acknowledgment slip contains:
- Slip Generation Date: The slip will carry the date on which GAMCA acknowledged the booking. The GCC slip is valid for 30 days.
- GAMCA Medical Center Details: You will get the name, address, phone number, and working hours of the medical center assigned to you.
- Personal Details: The GCC slip will include your full name, passport number, nationality, and the country to which you are traveling.
You must have your medical checkup within 30 days after generating the slip.
If you cannot appear during this period, you will have to cancel your current slip and obtain a new one.
When to Cancel or Reschedule Your GAMCA Appointment?
You can cancel or reschedule your GAMCA appointment for any of the following reasons:
- Visa or Travel Delays: You may cancel due to delays, such as those related to flight booking or visa processing. Even the medical certificate comes with a validity period of 90 days. You cannot use it for visa stamping after that. So instead of paying for the GAMCA tests, it's better to cancel and save money.
- Personal Urgencies: Family, employment, or medical emergencies that prevent you from adhering to your appointment schedule. In such cases, reschedule the appointment for a further date.
- Job Offer Changes: You receive a new job offer or employment agreement that no longer requires a medical screening. For example, if you got a new job in a different country for a higher salary, you don't need the GAMCA test.
- Missing Documents or Typo Errors: The slip contains typo information. Or you may have incomplete documents, such as your passport, visa application form, or sponsor letter. Sometimes, the validity of a passport may expire, causing delays.
- Logistical Issues: Inability to travel to the assigned GAMCA medical center or moving to a new place of residence. Some people opt for cancellation to schedule a new appointment so that they may visit the nearest GAMCA center. However, there is no guarantee of which center you will get when you book again.
Cancellation of a GCC Slip in India
According to GCC and GAMCA rules, after booking your appointment, you must take your test within the 30-day validity period. Otherwise, you would need to cancel your current slip first so that you can create a new one.

Please fill out the GCC Slip Cancellation form on our website or contact our authorized help desk for assistance. You must upload a copy of your passport and GCC slip at the time of cancellation.
Cancellation Fee Payment
You will have to pay a small cancellation fee. It’s usually USD 15. Your currency and location may vary. If you cancel immediately before GCC slip generation, the cancellation fee is USD 3.
