A GAMCA slip would usually be valid for 30 days from the date of issue. You are to present yourself for your medical test within the days. Otherwise, the slip would have expired within 30 days, and you would need to re-book and pay for a new one.
You are to bring along the following documents to the indicated medical center:
- Hard copy of your GAMCA booking slip.
- Original passport.
- 6 to 8 minimum new passport-sized photographs (white background best used).
- Original visa.

Don’t panic. You can download the booking slip from the same email ID used during booking. Take a digital copy wherever possible so you will never lose it.
No, a booked and printed slip cannot be refunded. You can cancel it. It needs a cancellation fee of USD 15. Kindly ensure the correctness of your details before confirmation of a booking.
However, if you cancel the booking immediately before GCC slip generation, you will get a refund. The processing fee is USD 3. The remaining amount will go back to the payment method you used for booking.
After you finish your doctor’s checkup, your clinic will upload your report to the GAMCA system. They will even give you a copy of your report. Your report will bear either of these two stamps: “Fit” or “Unfit.”
Fit: Your medical report is good, and you can proceed with your visa stamping process.
Not Fit: Your medical report states that you suffer from a medical condition. So you are not eligible to receive a visa. In that case, your application for a work visa will get rejected. But if your health condition is treatable, take the treatment and apply for the GAMCA test again.
Sometimes the GAMCA medical status may be absent or referred to.
